The Great British American THANKSGIVING Chowdown

On Thursday 26th November, The Candlestick Maker is back in town to serve up a supremely Alternative Thanksgiving Supper Club.

So come on down and get stuck into Kentucky Fried Turkey, Maple bacon crisps, pimped-up Pumpkin Pie, Pickle-Backs and more…the menu is below, just in case you don’t know what those last babies are…but trust us, once you’ve tried them, you’ll know. And you’ll want them every Thanksgiving /// Thursday.

Do you have eyes and ears and a mouth? Good. Then you might have noticed how Thanksgiving is becoming a bigger and bigger event over here in the U.K and you also might have thought, what?  Well, we think its an excellent tradition.

Us Great British folk might not have the same history, but we sure do love the same food.  And it’s kind of like a rehearsal for Christmas where you get to go off culinary piste – this menu certainly does anyway, as the traditional turkey gets a lip-smacking update from The Candlestick Maker…

…that’s our Food Director, Ian, by the way and he’s responsible for the awesome American-style munch you find at The Wall.  We salute him and give massive thanks to his mad culinary skills!  How does he make things taste so goooood?! That’s what we find ourselves crying out loud back at HQ anyway.

We think bigger is always better when celebrating together & that’s exactly what this Supper Club delivers…you’ll be seated family-style around one long table, under the arches, in our atmospheric subterranean setting.  And if you’ve ever been for an eat, a skate or a drink, you’ll know what we’re talking about.

Plus this 4-course feast is only 25 British pounds.  If that ain’t good value, then we don’t know what is….

Pickle Backs – Shots of bourbon & pickle juice for everyone!
SNACKS:
Maple bacon crisps with apple sauce
Spiced Cornbread with strained yoghurt
SHARING DISHES:
Baskets of Kentucky Fried Turkey with spiced cranberry ketchup and slaw
Sharing aged fore ribs of beef, braised red cabbage, duck fat potatoes, spiced pumpkin puree
SWEET:
Pumpkin pie
VEGETARIAN:
