50 Years Off The Wall @ The Wall SE1

Wed 3 Mar, 2016

Eat, skate, drink.

That’s our motto and it’s exactly how we marked a massive milestone…

50 Years “Off the Wall” was well and truly celebrated this weekend at House of Vans.

We had the sickest performances from…

Rat Boy

Fat White Family

Annie Mac

Julio Bashmore

and of course…

Dizzee Rascal!

Who absolutely blew the roof off…

We dished out birthday cake – it’s not a party without cake, right? – to fuel all the rad stuff with the Vans’ Fam and Friends…

Vans’ Legends led the Saturday afternoon’s skate school sessions while Lovenskate offered board workshops.

Tunnel 3 saw a serious transformation, from Friday’s confetti cannon dance floor to Saturday’s street market in less that 12 hours…

It was fun hosting a bunch of the best independent traders in London. Keepin’ it southside, we had fresh wax from Container Records and apparel from Brixton’s Baddest Skate Shop. To name and fame a few more, we shopped handcrafted jewellery from Tessa Metcalfe, wonderfully wacky illustrated gear from Rob Flowers and stopped by to see cult skate print, The Palomino.

Up in the heat, our kitchen crew expanded once again with official Vans’ man, Steve Van Doren gettin’ stuck into grillin’ duty to flip up some serious sliders!

We had an absolute blast celebrating Vans’ 50th Anniversary at The Wall SE1 with Vans Legends from all over the world.

Cheers, Vans! Here’s to many more years, Off The Wall.
